10 Week Course – Wednesdays 6:30-8:30

Each week you will be taught a specific skill in ceramics, building up a bank of work that will be fired for you to keep. The sessions are: Throwing, more throwing, trimming and handles, slab-building a vase, underglaze decoration, glazing, sgraffito plates, personal project and glaze remaining pieces.

Reasonable use of coloured slips and clear glaze included as well as one coloured house glaze. If you'd like to use a different coloured glaze this must be purchased yourself. Glaze must be fired to 1260 cone 9. No dribble glazes. I recommend Mayco brush-on glazes but I can help you to choose an appropriate glaze during the session with time for delivery.

-£35 per session (£350 for the 10 weeks). Clay must be bought from me (roughly £13 a bag). Everything else included:

- Includes: tuition, storage space and use of damp boxes, use of equipment and tools, your pieces fired in the kiln, materials excluding clay.

- Class size: 4 adults

- Level: Beginner to become Advanced
